David Helbock, pianista, é vencedor por duas vezes do maior festival do mundo de jazz-piano-solo, o festival de Jazz de Montreux/ Suiça, além do prémio da preferência do público. O seus álbuns merecem menções honrosas e elogios da crítica internacional.
Recebeu o mais importante prémio da sua categoria, Ouststanding Artist Award na Áustria, país onde nasceu na pequena cidade de Koblack, daí para o mundo onde tem alcançado uma carreira de sucesso.
David idealiza e realiza projetos com riqueza de detalhes, pesquisa e elevado padrão artístico na interpretação.
Iniciou seus estudos musicais aos seis anos de idade no Feldkirch Conservatory onde se graduou com mérito de excelência em jazz performance. No ano de 2000 começa a estudar com o pianista norte-americano Peter Madsen, seu professor, mentor e amigo.
Realizou digressões de enorme sucesso nos EUA, Europa, Ásia, África, América Latina, Índia. Helbock é, também um compositor de reconhecido talento, participou no One Year Composition Project com o desafio de compôr um tema novo por dia durante um ano e que deu origem em 2010 á publicação do seu Personal Realbook com mais de seiscentas composições.
